Brothers Compete To Impress Heroine!
Aryan Rajesh and Allari Naresh compete with others in playing with Anu Mehta. All the three youngsters are busy in the schedules of shooting of the film under the direction of EVV. When Anu Mehta exclaimed in a disgusting mood, “It’s very hot today”, a few moments later Aryan Rajesh took an ice cube and dropped that in the blouse of Anu Mehta from back side. Looking at the bold and naughty step taken by his brother, Allari Naresh decided to impress Anu and shouted on his brother. But Anu reprimanded Naresh saying, “Aye! Why do you shout on your brother? He is elder to you!” Naresh frowned and smiled with a pale face. Well, Anu Mehta seems to be in very positive terms with Rajesh. Naresh should cope with this till the completion of shooting!

Finally, the result is out! Venkatesh starrer Subash Chandra Bose bombed at the box-office in big way. The film is big disaster on the lines of recent disasters like Pawan Kalyan’s Johnny and Rajanikant’s Baba. The film, shot at a lavish budget, is said to have incurred loses of about Rs 11 Crores. Both critics (except some loyalists to producer Aswinidutt) and general audiences have disliked the film.
This is the worst flop in Venkatesh’s long career after Vishwnath directed Chinnabbayi.
Subash Chandra Bose’s failure has not created any ripples among the trade circles because the film was not sold to buyers. In most areas, producer Ashwinidutt released the film himself (In Nizam through Asian films). Nonetheless, Subash Chandra Bose, is now declared disaster.
In Hyderabad, the hub of Nizam area, the film has not even drawing 10% of total seating capacity in theatres it released. That explains its grave situation at BO.
One wonders what attracted Venkatesh in this film to sign on? His hardcore fans too detested the film so much. One fan says: “I thought Venkatesh will never do silly films after colossal flop of Chinnabbayi. But Subash Chandra Bose is worse than that film both quality wise and business wise.”
In the era of SMSes and Internet reviews, any film’s fate is decided on the first day itself. In particularly mobile messages have become potential threats to Telugu films in urban areas. The film started declining the collections after the first show itself. Even then producers bombard with ‘public talk’ on Television channels claiming that audiences are enjoying the film. How silly! Today everyone knows that what is aired on TV channels about films are just humbug. |
