SATYANARAYANA in NIPPULANTI MANISHI:
If there was one character who could lend the same kind of demeanor to the role of this law abiding PATHAN, originally played by PRAN in the run away hit ZANGEER, then it ought to be SATYANARANA then.
His deportment and diction were so perfect in the movie that he ended up sharing the credit equally with NTR, who was at his magnificient best as an honest cop, who struggles to come out of his turbulent past. Satynaraya performance in the song 'SNEHAMEERA JEEVITHAM"-perhaps the first qwali song in telugu- takes him all the way to the list of all time great screen performances!
Nagabhushanam in MOOSAGALLAKI MOSAGAADU:
NAGABHUSHANAM was in his elements in this character, which is a straight rip-off from THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY. His stock dialogue "THALLI MUNDAMOOYA" was an instant hit with the rural audience as I vividly remember some of them using it in my village. A certain favorite of mine!

S.V.Ranga Rao in Mayabazar- Ah! Who can forget the convocation that he holds for the Rakshasas in the movie? Even after five decades The VEERA THAADU dialogue that he uses in the scene still rings the bell with the movie lovers!
MAADA in Chillara Kottu Chittamma-
Watershed, groundbreaking are the adjectives that can be used to decribe MAADA's character in this movie. MAADA's histrionics in the song CHOODU PINNAMMA PAADU PILLOODU would have surprised even the most seasoned Eunuchs/Hermaphrodites of the day  hence he deserves two big thumbsup's for the amount of time he put in to get the details right.
PEEKEETI SIVA RAO in ILLARIKAM:
Peeketi Siva Rao as an irresponsible son-in-law who becomes a parasite sucking the blood of his "in laws" is a cameo in telugu movies. I guess Peeketi, with his popular dialogue "NEETI MAAMALANTHAA OKAPATI ALLULLEE LEERAA" would have been revered by many youngsters of the day! Clearly one of my favorites!
Y.VIJAYA in MAA PALLELLOO GOOPALUDU!
Y.VIJAYA's role of a prostitute with her famous "pulsu" dialogue is one of the most humorous characters of all time! After this movie, Y.Vijaya became the quintessential vamp of the telugu industry before the role of vamp lost its prominence in the telugu movies.
NUTAN PRASADH in PATNAM VACCHINA PATHIVRATHALU:
Nutan's role in this movie as NOOTOKKA JILLALA ANDHAGADU with his stock dialogue "DEESAM CHAALA KLISHTA PARISTHITHILOO UNDHI was just the beginning of a long and illustrious career that ended prematurely due to his accident on the sets of BHAAMMA MAATA BANGAARU BAATA.
RAJABABU in AALUMAGALU:
This ANR,VANISREE starrer had RAJABABU teasing ALLU as THEEETHAAA(THEESEESINA THASILDHAARU).This role gelled well with the Telugu masses as they could relate well with the local thasildhars.
KOTA in MANDALAADEESUDU:
Terrific and stunning portrayal of the lead character which parodies the then CM of ANDHRA PRADESH. An all time favorite of any movie lover.
C.S.R. Anjaneyalu in APPU CHEESI PAPPU KOODU:
C.S.R. had an inimitable voice that fetched him an unique identity in the field. C.S.R., can arguably be said as the first social villain of Telugu Cinema before the mantle was successfully inherited by the likes of Nagabhushanam, SATYANARAYANA and RGR.
His ironical role as an upper middle class man who leverages his social status to borrow money in order to protect its status in this movie from the Vijaya's stable is an humdinger. His dialogues in this movie "EDHEVA VADDI...ENTHAITHEE EMI...MANAKI KAAVALASINDHI ASALU". "APPU THEESUKOOVATAM LOO NEEVINKAA KOTTHA VAADIVEENEE...KITUKU CHEBUTHAA VINU" "PARAPATHI UNTEE NUVVENDHUKU AGOORINCHANU" etc should stand out as a treatise to all the people who tread this path.

gundamma from gundamma katha..surya kantam ki naa sata koti vandaanalu..too much chestundhi..NTR-Ramana reddy thappa migathaa andharinee dominate chesi paresindhi ee movie lo..i cant imagine anyone else in this role..
Mohan babu from pedarayudu:according to me rajni kanth role was dominated by style and mohan babu's was dominated by substance..well etched character..that grace, humility, screen presence, dialogue annee baga suit ayyayi..
raghuvaran from shiva and paresh rawal from KSKS..ram gopal verma etched a beautiful character of bhavani..mana cinemallo villain ki pedda buildup ichhi last lo tussu anipisthaaru.. ikkada chivari varaku bhavani thaggadu..KOTA ni champese scene was different from other films..shows that bhavani bows to none and doesn't care for anyone..
and again verma was back with a completely contrasting negative role in the form of paresh rawal in KSKS..
NTR from gudigantalu.. oka manishi character change avvatam chala kashtam or impossible and that his ingrained character is always with him either in dormant or active form ani chala baga choopinchadu ee movie lo.. and that his actions will always haunt him ani kooda..
telugu title baagundhi kaani ..i think hindi title was more apt..AADMI..

Similar to the thread jamadagni mama posted, how about listing some characters which are very popular in telugu cinema.
my list is, i am just giving randomly, will rank them later:
1. Sutti Velu & Suti Veerabhdrarao from Nalugu Stambala aata: None has impacted a telugu man's life as these two characters. A new word has been coined into our culture due to these characters.
2. Battala Sati from Ladies Taylor: For few years i used to think that was his name, later I realized his name was mallikarjuna.
3. Bramham from chitram bhalre vichitram: this character also coined a new word in to our culture, nee yamma is a vulgar word but not nee yankama. that shows how powerful the character was.
4. Khan Dada from Money: another one from brahmanandam.
5. Rao gopal rao from Mutyala muggu(dont know the character name): when ever we say manishi anaka kusta kala posana undali, it was from this character.
6. Rao goapl rao from Gang leader(dont know the name of charatcer): using satiric comparisons have become a habit in our society after this charatcer.
A famous one, "nuvvu kanchana malaki takkuva, kanambabi ki ekkuva"
will add more, keep adding your choices.
