i saw the movie, since i had nothing to do last night and regrettted every minute of it. there is no story in the movie just overused graphics. |

I somehow get a feeling that Riddick is going to be one of those 'Bandal' movies of this summer... much like 'Van Helsing' and the coming "I, robot". Loads of SFX with not much effort at great story telling.. From the promos 'Riddick' looks to be full of corny 'tough guy' dialogs and crazy, over-the-top, video game-like computer graphics..
I don't think people are marvelled by CGI special effects sans good storytelling these days, like they used to in the past..
Just a hunch though.. I hope it turns out to be good so that I have one more movie to see on weekends before Spidy-2, Harry Potter, Bourne Supremacy and 'Alien Vs. Predator' hit the screens in the coming months.
Oh ! Watch out for 'Dodge Ball'.. I bet Ben Stiller is going to crack us up big time once again.. |

i saw pitch black.
this was long back before he was star, it has its interesting moments, heros role will be little ambigous to audience for a while as we will be not sure if he is good or bad guy.
he can see in dark.
so that character is used for this movie i guess |
