>>It will be treated as Doctor visit

AW mama I dont think so.

If test are done at doctors office, then it is treated as doctor's visit if you have 100% covered diagnostics. Your copay is valid only for doctors visit and since you have 100% covered under diagnostics, you pay your copay only.

But tests, hospital lo cheyiste, then hospital charges come under hospitalisation even for diagnostics. This is apart from copay for doctor.

another key pactor to consider if you have kids is Emergency copay.

maaku $125 anta ER copay. so saana jagratta gaa vundaali.. sinna sithaka vatiki kangaru padi idivarakatla ER ki polemu. better option is to go to Urgent care.

health insurance lo 5 things you need to worry

1) Doctors visit - copay ( normally it will be less than $ 15
2) Diagnostics - should be 100% covered
Indulo hospital lo outpatient kinda chesevi hospitalisation kinda vastundi. Hospital lo walkin aithe raadu.. And other diagnostics done at doctors lab/other diagnostics centers
3) Hospitalisation deductible + copay - deductible should be minimum and 100% covered after that is better
4) Presription : Branded drugs ki oka copay, generic ki oka copay.. 10/5 or 15/5 is best )
5) Upper limit for coverage: $500,000 to $1M is better.

After all this they pay salary which again has to be atleast $4000 to $4500 take home in NORTH EAST!!

>>AW do you pay 900 per month for insurance

That is the cost for fuull family insurance.

My wife gets insurance coverage from her employer. For single coverage I paid $330 per month (before tax) and for my daughter I took from BCBSNC

Recently even I moved to BCBS and paying totally 273 per month (but this is after tax money). It will be another $100 when I will be adding second kid later this year

Aetna covers 100% if the coverage is for 'employee only'. However, if spouse and dependasnts need to be covered, it is pretty expensive.

Rendu costly ee mama.. Unless it is provided by employer atleast partially, it is not affordable by individual.

But on the other side coverages are the best for both. No hassles and very immediate response.
