I think it depends on the camera's they use.

English movies especially tend to be different. Its because they do not use more light. They only use it if they think the viewers won't be able to see anything.Some thing I noticed...most of the times in English movies they have blue and red combos.. blue background unte.. dressings red ga untaayi.. or red background unte.. main lead blue dresses lo untaaru..

just the general color schema of the whole picture...its bright in telugu...hindi and english tend to be on the darker side...

i think tuntari has an idea of what im talking about...dont know the technical term though.

basically.. two things..
1. one is the format of the movie film they use it. (some new technology came which allows online preview )
2. the process they use it for making the final print.. In India prasad labs, bombay introduced it for company.

what is the reason for the difference in the color tone of the picture in these movies...

is it becasue of the equipment of the way they process prints...
