I know Venki is not doing dances now a days but..

By the title and promos itself it is very easy to guess who the target audience is for the movie.
Knowing that if u have gone means, no one can help.

basic and bottomline ee cinema janalaki ekkaledu....slow narration and bad screen play.....bore kottinchindi
but i liked the movie in the current lot

your point would be very valid if the brothers were kids without parents and the elder ran the risk of neglect. This wansnt the case as the family was well and had both parents. |

Venky doesn't need sankranthi
sankranthi needs Venky
I liked some of the serious scenes and some sentiment scenes..Venky's performance was really good. On the whole i liked the movie. I do not mind watching him in such roles as long as his role is not similar to the one in Vasantham
Sankranthi without Venky would definitely be a flop venture. |

Andhuke Hitler sesedu ani maree daarunam gaa antunnavugaa.
To be frank, or heroes can make these movies ocasiionally.
Cycle should be like this one comedy movie, one action movie and one family movie.
Venky followed exactly like this and gave Malleswari, Gharshana and Sankranthi.
Now again he is giving action flick SC Bose. Next he may do comedy entertainer like NVNV/Malleswari followed by family movie.
Instead of dishing out or branded as only one type, Venky is doing good thing |

Watched the movie and all through out I just had 1 Q. WTF is venky doing in this movie???????? You have more time buddy...do those roles when you cross fifty.
Is this the same guy who gave us a shatruvu and an NNN. I can safely say that the two best scenes in the movie were the interval and 'shubham' card.
there were countless such movies in the mid early 90's with jaya sudha, chandra mohan, a joint family, money and egos. I dont see how this movie is any different.
Bottomline....sankranti needed Venky BUT
