and chiru ki adhe time lo gangleader,staterowdy,
garanamogudu,mutamestri,rowdyalludu lanti mass flicks, which suit hyd ppl taste vachhayi andhuke chiru ki pai cheyi vachhindhi
ika migata nizam areas lo appatlo ekkuva ga telugu cinemalu direct relase vundevi kavu, late realses ee ekkuva ga vundevi
edho ee madya prints records gola tho nizam lo kooda centers penchesaru
even till 2000 none of the center in districts
like medak,adilbad used to feture in direct relase list of any film
i guess except in one district medak in all other
districts of nizam nbk having good following
in nalgonda,karimnagar,mahaboobnagar there are good number of fans associations
during ntr time nbk used have good following in nizamabad district even today in many parts of the district nbk movies do well, but the following has some what collapsed after ntr death and also due to coming of new generation heros
i guess nbk status in nizam districts is
mahaboobnagar strong following
rangareddy and hyd minimum following
medak negligable following
nizamabad good following
adilabad minimum following
karimnagar good following
warangal minimum following
khammam good following

Yes, AW, Initially Hyderabad was one of Balayya's strongest centres. RTC X roads daggara Subhash ani oka dokku theater vuntadi. Now it's not a main theater. Okasaari aa theater kelthe, I was surprised to see that it had lot of 100 days movies of NBK in in 1980s. 2 theaters lo 50 days koodaa ade trend leni rojullo Anasuyamma Gari Alludu ran for 100 days in 2 theatres of Hyderabad. Till RowdyInspector, Balayya used to have good hold in Nizam as well. RowdyInspector had a very good run in Sandhya. From RowdyInspector(1992-1999) till SSR, Balayya was weak in Hyd. But from SSR, he picked up in Nizam as well (SSR used to hold the highest jubilees record in Nizam, Even now, LN has the highest number of 50 days in Nizam) as well. But definitely, he lost his best touch in Hyderabad.
Surprising thing is inspite of being weak, NBK is the only hero in Hyderabad to have 4 jubilee movies in Hyderabad (Some one can correct me if I'm wrong).
While NBK started losing ground in Hyd after RI, on the other end, he became very strong in Rayalaseema. Though GM was a bigger hit than the same time release RI in other parts, in Ceded RI had a good run when compared to GM. After that Peddannayya holds Rayalaseema record which was broken by SSR and which was later broken by NN. Till Indra, Chiru didn't have a movie which ran in atleast 15 centres of Ceded. But with Indra, Chiru had a great run in Rayalaseema and it crossed NN's 100 days. From then on, Chiru is having good run in Seema as well along with Nizam. |

i am not a fan of either of them. from my point of view i am analysing their presence in the tollywood industry as they are in the film industry over 25 years. this is not to criticise either of them. if you like post here, no abusing, please:
action: both are good in commercial films, but while doing variety roles, nbk has edge over chiru.
crowd pulling: both has the potential to pull the crowds, but chiru has clearly has an edge over nbk. a flop movie of chiru can sustain more than nbk movie
following/fan base: both has huge fan base commercially, but chiru has more following in the family section than nbk; similarly urban areas too.
encouragement of new talent: nbk has an edge over chiru in this; nbk will give chance to the new talent than chiru. chiru generally prefers estlablished technicians.
to me, given a chance nbk can prove that he can do different characters; and chiru can satisfy more sections of people.
i have selected few topics to compare their capabilty. the main drawback or advantage of nbk was being the son of NTR people expect something from him, such a constrainment is not there for chiru.
