historical movie ani kaadu.. but this has 2 genres..
movie lo 2 threads nadustaayi..
one with the pre-independence story..(venky is SCB's follower)
and the other current day theme..(venky plays a journalist)
pre-independence time lo Shriya is his lover..(he is supposed to marry her..but dies before he could)
and modern time Venky and Genelia are both journalists..
so i guess its not such a bad choice .. |

"On Saturday, a fire had struck the sets of Victory Venkatesh – K.Raghavendara Rao’s period film – Subhash Chandra Bose, at Kurnool. The set was that of an old British Palace. The movie has Venky, Shriya and Genelia in the lead. Though there is no loss or injury to human life, sources inform us that 25 lakhs worth set property was damaged during the fire accident. Its not known what triggered off the fire as official sources declined to comment on this issue. Earlier, the owner of the plot at which the set was erected tried filing a ‘stay order’ on the film’s release claiming that the producer did not pay him the rent, which he was unsuccessful at. The movie’s release might be delayed slightly due this. Though the movie is a historical one, the director has taken the cinematic license and shot two songs in the Turkey."

Insurance ‘claims’ creep into Tollywood too!
Insuring film sets is new phenomena in India. In Hollywood everything is insured from the film’s set to heroine’s hips. But in Tollywood, the trend of insuring huge sets is catching (literally) of late only. Where there is ‘insurance’ involves, ‘bogus claims’ also shadow them is the adage. Rumormongers say this adage also applies for the recent ‘fire accident’ that occurred in a Telugu film set. Can anyone throw the ‘light’ on this incident, please!
