Shanakarabharanam’s silver jubilee celebrations on 15th
One of the greatest classics of the Telugu films, Shankerabaranam, turns 25 years tomorrow (Feb 02). In keeping with the film’s greatness and its success both at national and international level, Kinnera Arts is to held silver jubilee celebrations on February 15, at Lalitha Kalathoranam , Hyderabad.
The classic was released on Feb 02, 1980 and made film’s lead pair, and the director big stars overnight. It was with this film, K Vishwanath changed his track of filmmaking and continued to hold his sway. The celebrations will be held in big way, said Kinnera Raghuram to the media on Tuesday. “First we are conducting a musical show by SPB and others. Then a special screening of the film is shown with brand new print,” he elaborated.
Dasari Narayana Rao will be the chief guest. Along with director K Vishwanath, Veturi, SPB, all other living technicians and artistes of the film will participate in this celebrations.
Producer Edida Nageshwara Rao shared his experiences during the film’s filming and after the release of the film. (Telugucinema.com will soon publish a special story about his experiences
