venu mamaa.. exact review.
though little slowish in between , its second half which is backbone of MASS.
BT maama, cinemaa chaalaa mamulu gaa untundhi...ippudu chaala mandhi so ..so ..average anntunaaru..first day talk chusi OVER expectations tho unnaaru janam..kaani already established talk undi poyindhi...
even families are also saying its an OK movie.. |

Ika cinema HIT anedi ye matram doubt ledu but SHIVAMANI lanti so...so cinema tho polchatam tappu, ala ani SHIVA tho polchatam maha tappu!!

I along with my sister's family went to MASS Friday 6PM show. The time I reached was 4.30PM and not even a single person at the theatre!! I started feeling embarassed as I forced my sis family to the movie saying many people would be there and you get a feeling that you are watching the movie in HYD!! Than it was 5.30PM and people started coming in. They let us in at about 5.45 and by 6.10PM the theatre was HOUSEFULL!!
Now coming to the movie:
1) 1st Half was just so...so with that girl CHARMY a mere waste!! The songs were so..so and comedy was not there with just Venu Madhav trying and not making you laugh much!! NAGARJUNA was charming as ever and GRAPHICS in fights were there!! In interval, I started wondering WAS THE MOVIE UNNECESSARILY HYPED?????? Some poeple were openly commenting -ve!!
2)2nd Half started and the MOMENTUM picked up with MA....MA...MASS!!!!!! JYOTHIKA was chubby but homely, NAG was as usual charming and the movie dramatically picked up!!! 2 songs in the 2nd half were good to very good, the screenplay was good and everything went well in the 2nd half!! SUNIL did very well but my disappointment again was no comedy at all!! But 2nd half is the one which made the movie a HITTTTT!!!!
So overall......
+ve's: NAGARJUNA, JYOTHIKA, SUNIL, 2 good to very good songs, very good steps by NAG in 2 songs, and the crisp screen play in 2nd half!!
-ve's: Old predictable story, no comedy, 1st half weak, too many diskum diskums!!
The Movie for sure is a HIT, but no SHIVA!! The movie's HIT range depends on SANKRANTHI releases, but should be a good HIT in USA!! |
