recently i have been to odean to watch shankardada new song ... i have seen the banners put up by fans below chiru's cutout:

Nivas and CJ mamalu, even I have been to that show. Oops, I missed you guys. I know there was a thread on this "who are going to see Mass on 23rd night at NJ". I thought I couldn't make it, but my plans got changed and I came for last night show.I didn't have your numbers.So, when I was in the theater I called up one of our DB member who has Nivas Babai's phone number and asked whether you guys came to the movie so that I can meet you. That guy said that he is going to call Nivas and check with him on that. Probably, he might be busy and didn't get back to me. I thought you guys didn't come to the show.
Coming to the movie, it is OK for me, it will be hit, I'm not sure of the range. Reviews choosi baagaa expectations tho vella, so movie naaku antha goppagaa anipinchaledu.But at the same time, it's not a bad movie, definitely a watchable movie. Highlights being Nag and Lawrence direction. Nag surprised everyone with his steps and for me, this is the best movie of Nag when it comes to steps in the songs.He perfectly suited to the character and did very well.As usual, he looks great. His guts should be appreciated for taking up such an outdated old story, that too with a new director and still emerging victorious. Lawrence taking is superb.With such a thin story line, he still made sure that the tempo graph of the movie doesn't go down. The screenplay is so tight and gripping and he should be commended for handling in such a way. I don't know how many of you will agree with me. I liked first half when compared to second half. Second half is with highs and lows, but the second half picked up during climax and climax is good even though it doesn't sound logical. Personally, I liked this movie when compared to Shivamani(Shivamani's first half is excellent) and Nenunnanu, Where as I liked Manmadhudu better than this movie. On the whole as I said, chaalaa paatha story ayina ekkada bore kottokundaa kocchoo pettaaru. Nag should do more mass movies like these since these kind of movies generate more revenue (Even though they're not that good, Shivamani and Nenunnaanu ran in more centres when compared to Santosham and Manmadhudu which are very good) and brings up huge following to that hero. Congrats to Nag and his fans.. |

• Guitar Step: Nag’s dance movements on the staircase holding guitar in Vaalu kalla Vayyari song is
• Belt Step: Nag twisting the waist and rotating the belt buckle in simulation in Indurudu Chandurudu song is trendy.
• Smoothers: Nag waving his hands and keeping it on waist and giving hip moment and then folding his legs with perfect hip moment in Kottu kootu (Holi) song is simply superb.
• Racy movements: There are several racy dance bits in all the songs |

movie is good cinema definite hit second half konchem bore but climax malli baagundi. Range cheppalemu.
And one more thing ee cinema shiva ni maripinchentha maathram ledu coz aa cinema lo subject society kosam potlaade charecter and every department gelled and worked excellent.
Mass lo akkadakkada nachadu but that doesnt mean it is avg or flop. Hit maathram sure and super hit kooda ayye chances easyga unaayi. Range sangathi ippude emi cheppalemu.
Dance lu naaku nachaledu of course nag ki dances weak point ani tehlisinde so ikkada dance adarabho ani anaaru ani chepaanu anthe. Movie maathram baagundi so you can enjoy the movie so maamalu ee roje velli chooodandi manchi cinema. |

8PM show. attended by very good crowd at pathmark plaza north bergen. only fron 3/4 rows were empty. good crowd for first day single show in inclement weather.
CJ, SuperStarfan, J2ee, RING, VSNivas, SMS, Johnny, Ravik (last 3 r regular ibdb members) are few DB members who met.
superstarfan opinied the movie might not go well with b,c,d centers and range may be little over sivamani.
megafans appreciated the taking and direction capabilities of lawrence. Infact sms opinied that the film resembled bollywood kind of movie with its opening shot and lavishness. Every othre megafans is happy with the movie and felt it would generate good revenues at BO and will be minimum Hit and range no one can decide on first couple days.
for me the movie is ok at times and good overall. Nag is terrific. mother senti scene i did not liked that much.
