Hyderabad, Dec. 19:
Popular Tollywood actress Trisha, upset at the circulation of her “morphed nude video” on the Internet, has lodged a complaint with the police. The morphed video of the actress undressing in the bathroom has been in circulation on the Net in Hyderabad and Chennai for the past ten days. Trisha has filed a complaint with the Chennai Commisisoner of Police against unknown offenders involved in the circulation of the video shots on the Net.
Emails with attachments of the shots have been criss-crossing the Net. Trisha told Chronicle that she had filed a complaint at Chennai as the morphed shots emerged from there. “It is a morphed picture,” she said. The complaint was handed over to Chennai’s Cyber Crime police. I have taken it seriously.” Posting obscene mails and pictures on the Web is an offence under the Cyber Crime Act.
“The origin of the files can be found out by identifying the IP addresses,” said an officer of the Cyber Crime police station. When contacted, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police V Dinesh Reddy said that issue had not come to his notice. Cyberabad commissioner of Police M Mahendar Reddy said the issue also attracted action under IPC sections relating to obscenity and teasing a woman.

In this regards, there have been lots of instances where morphed pictures of popular actresses have been created to extract money from them. However, this particular video based on Trisha is of the similar regards is something to ascertain. But, the video sent out by these guys over the Internet seems to be of ¡§Agmark¡¨ indecency.
The news was brought to this magazine by an anonymous phone call. The voice gave complete information about this video and how it could potentially damage Trisha¡¦s growing public image. The voice finally revealed its identity. The person¡¦s name is Saran. He works for a private detective agency in Madras, called ¡§Detective International¡¨ as an Assistant Director.
The guy claims that he works to unearth such cyber crimes. He also doubts that someone who wanted to publicize such illegal activities taking place everyday has sent this video in a good gesture to him. [Oh boy!! What a joke!!!!]
¡§The group behind this could have demanded money from them. Since Trisha would have denied paying them, they could have created this purported video and sent out on the Internet¡¨, says Saran.
¡§Rich people are the ones mostly targeted. Using body-double, they create cloned pictures of such popular stars. During the early days, this was confined only to still pictures. But now its on the video too. That¡¦s a lot of graphical work behind all of these.
Even actresses are black-mailed by such groups after creating such pictures and videos, both in bollywood and in kollywood.¡¨, says Saran.
¡§Is the girl in camera, really Trisha? One can easily figure out that this has been shot in a star hotel¡¦s bathroom. The girl almost looks like Trisha in terms of her body structure. She enters the bathroom in a jean and a nice top with flower designs. The video runs for 3 minutes. She starts to strip in the bath tub before the shower and at one point is completely nude. The casual look in the way she has her shower makes us feel that she does not know about a ¡§spycam¡¨ capturing her fully nude. This ¡§bluefilm-type¡¨ scene has been created with a RealPlayer format and sent out on the Internet¡¨, says Saran.

The magazine reporter took this issue to the Chennai commissioner of police. He listened to the entire episode with a sad face. Saran handed over the video file on a CD to the commissioner. There are people specially trained in this branch. ¡§This video was shot on 17th of last month and it has been sent out using a computer. In the meantime, this has been circulated all over the world. And this comes at no surprise. If we could find out the place where this crime was done, we could nab the guys involved in this and prevent such illegal activities in future¡¨, says the commissioner with loads of confidence.

On the whole, the body movements of the girl in the video, i.e, ¡§body language¡¨ does not match that of my daughter.¡¨, says Trisha¡¦s mom Uma Krishnan with extreme confidence.
