Since the beginning of the shooting of the film 'Mannasu Matta Vinaadhu', Navdeep had developed an desire an Ankitha. He made all out efforts to satisfy his desire for her. He wanted to tease her physically throughout the shooting in song sequence and also in other scenes. Added to this he also began to talk with double meaning.
During a particular song sequence, his physical intimidation had gone to far and touched her at wrong placed deliberately. Ankitha warned him many times about this, but that didn't stop the 'hero'. Then she tried to appeal his good sense by requesting him to stop harassing her, but in vain. As a result she slapped him hand on his face.
All, these things had happened in front of the whole unit. Navdeep got very angry what the slap, and started calling her names using third rate language. Ankitha on the other hand, was very much vexed about this continuous sexual harassment she felt cornered helplessly, so she swallowed sleeping pills had attempting suicide.
