Dasari told in recent Santhosham interview.."I am the only perosn supporting congress from last few years.Recently 'Padmalaya' Aadi sheshagiri Rao joined congress.But me and Rajasekhara Reddy failed in giving him assembly seat.But, Mr.Seshagiri Rao behaved decently.All the remaining film personalities supported TDP.Now all the people including"Thella panche,Thella chokka" vaallu are trying to come this side from that side(From TDP to Congress)".
That "Thell panche" is nothing but ANR... |

dAsari and anr had big time differences after the movie rAyuDugAru-nAyuDu gAru. even rAmAnayuDu and dAsari had differences but later patched up. but dAsari and anr are not even on talking terms. in one of the recent filmi-functions (about a year or couple of years back), anr was sitting in the front row along with other celebrities (i think it was the audio release function of prabhas' eeSvar) and when he noticed dA.nA.rao walking in to the function hall, he stood up and left by making a comment, 'eeyanani kUDA pilicArA! ika nEnenduku ikkaDa'. this was reported in several websites during that time.

Some years back(before 1989) COngress party asked ANR to head PCC in a bid to counter NTR's cine glamor. ANR chickened out saying that he doesnt have mass following as much as NTR and humply refused.
With that COngress people dont have good relations with him and later COngress defeated NTR without cine power. |
