Please do not generalize things because some people make controversy out of it. And generalization doesn’t work always. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. I do see that it’s an issue. Two issues that are causing trouble to a movie is Slab system and PIRACY. With, slab system, the government will profit. Piracy will not help anyone neither the industry nor the government. YSR got a good opportunity to prove his idea-logy (if any) otherwise the congress will loose it’s existence again in the future elections.

I don’t know what really have happened in the discussion but looks at the paper article, professionalism is not there in our Government (sorry to say). If you see the comment that the ministry made, it looks very childish. The problem is to avoid PIRACY. It is irrelevant how much the actors charge and how is the quality of the movie. Even if the heroes do charge less, still the PIRACY kills the cinema industry. Well if the industry is asking for subsidy or for any fee land, what ministers say is absolutely right because the industry can make the movies for this kind of work or do some thing different.
Yes, the industry is with Telugu Desam. So it’s not good to say that the government will not help. Yes, going to movie outside is very expensive. The statement “Piracy is helping poor” is very ironical and then that cause every illegal business will help some people get more money.
Hope this government takes some good decisions that will help all the people. I am against Government giving some subsidies. The reason being subsidies cant make people get their work done. Government has to create all the infrastructure and environment so that people can get their work done.
