Amar and Jam: thanks for the info. hopefully these cine guys respond to this 'real' feedback than the vandhi maagadhulu around them. If Mahesh goes down cuz of his bad choices or his stubborn attitude, it will be a waste of a very good talent for telugu cinema.

telugucinema.com guys have contacts with industry, when they published it on their main site, i am sure mahesh will be knowing of it.
as when we people release Nani songs on web before movie released, Manjula came to know about it and asked jeevi itseems, so they would be getting info if its really serious.
and about open letters in IB, allu aravind realised media importance for usa(read it as for arya), so he must have definitely read those open letters for johnny if not our pk.

Mahesh knows about this site. Two of our friends in India Kanak and Ravi have met him several times! Infact when the songs of Naani came out Kanak took a copy of a cd and gave it to Manjula to show the callousness going on in the sets!! Ofcourse she reciprocated the gesture by giving some exclusive pictures to the site!! Even Mahesh was willing to do an interview when these guys interviewed the maverick Surya!!

what is the best way a fan can show his displeasure to his hero?
1. write letters requesting or suggesting him something.
2. close ur fan site in protest to heros action of being take a ride for their loyalty.
3. bootulu tidutu letter rayadam, so that he will get hurt.
4. do a dharna and rastra roko in front of his house.
5. change ur loyalty and follow some one.
6. call him and tell ur opinions or criticise him harshly.
from the above options, shutting the site and open letters look reasonable.
pk fans already wrote open letters for johnny, prince fans went for the other option.
for johnny, all wrote letters criticising and some prasing him too for his action(i am even one who praised ) but what will johnny get the feed back?, my film is good but audience rejected it.
prince fans by shutting the site sent shockwaves to his hero, if he is sensible he will think over it otherwise if he is like balayya, nothing much happens, only pain from fans side.
so lets wait for the next movie of these two heros and analyse whose method is best, dont look for Arjun from Mahesh as this was before the incident, analyse on the movie which he signed after that protest.
if gudumba is again experimental movie and it bombs, lets conclude open letters is just one of expressing displeasure but not an effective way to sent shock waves  |

After reading the two articles on princefans.us, I wondered what it means being a fan of celebrity.
The same people who praised performances of mahesh in nijam are now criticising him. Does that mean what they have written till these days was just to promote their website ??
And moreover , why did these people became fans of Mahesh in the first place ? Is it because of his acting skill, charisma or just because he is the son of the Krishna and they being the fans of superstar krishna ?? I seriously doubt if they belong to the first category, and that would mean they are not true fans but just promoters of the Krishna's family, who are feeling an insecurity.
Iam also a fan of Mahesh babu, I hated him for the first film, but after watching him perform in murari, i knew about his acting skills. He is the finest actor in the telugu industry at present. I openly admit it even though iam a big fan of chiranjeevi. Frankly, me being a fan of chiranjeevi dosent also make me a fan of pawan kalyan and arjun.
And please dont give your free suggestions of how to select a movie and how to do participate in public services to an artist. This insults his intillegence and your faith in the artist.
I have not seen Naani yet but Iam sure Mahesh must have performed very well in it. I expected a praise for Mahesh's performance and criticism about the movie on this site. If it was a really a fan site, you will not just disucss and give hype about the pro's of the artist and the movie, but would promote constructive criticism.
Please forgive me if I have hurt your feelings, I just expressed my feelings. I never liked any fan site in telugu (even chirufans site), and now i hate them even more. |
