sri : part time for the first semester and if he does good there, transfer to a reputed school..

Also just getting in may not help if his plans are to work most of the time..

Thanks to each and everyone mamalu. I know the scores are on the low. He recently came to United States and he got green card through his family. He is currently having a job in NJ. The family wants to have him since he came recently and they missed him for long time.

Do you guys think where there will be a chance in FDU?
What other schools will give admission in Tri-state? I heard one of my friend saying that there is one school which gives guaranteed admission? Do you know which school?

FDU is like the fall back option. You go there
only if you can't get in anywhere. I have been
to that campus and it doesn't even feel like a
college..

Why the New Jersey perference sri? The scores look
too low to get into any school..

1. Would the school applies the same selection criteria for part-time?
2. Does anyone know which school in NJ will give guaranteed admission?

Any thoughts?

One of my best friend applied for 4 schools in USA (NJIT, FDU, STEVENS, RUTGERS) for Masters in Electrical Engineering. I am the contact person for him in the States. He got around 60% in Engineering and about 850 (GRE) and 220 (TOFEL) in computer based testing. He got the strong recommendation letters.

I just received a call from Stevens that the admission has been denied due to low grades. If Stevens denies, is there a possibility for him to get the admission in FDU or NJIT? Is there anything we can do to get the admission? My friend is very desperate. Any information is helpful.
