Ramu gaaru.you are correct about forest lo laya with balayya.
I also felt the same way after reading the story details given by CJ. Most of the VV photoes shown, NBK, Laya, and kid in forest along with tamil amma ( sorry I couldn't recollect her name) in forest backdrop pictures.
I am 100% sure, VV story is different than what CJ written here.

The story goes like this.
balio is shown unconsious with heavily wounded. Some koyagudem people rescue him and bring him. He wont be able to recall who he is. Mingles well with the crowds. Ankita babe here and follows couple songs. Suddenly some local goon tries to attack the koyagudem people and balio rescues them. He is surprised about his skills. Then someone sees balio and informs heavily networked traitors (read as ISI agents). enters Sangeeta as a journo to know details of balio and tries to tell him about his past. couple dream songs follow. Finally balio's past is revealed.
balio is a major and simha swapnam and always sleeps in the gundelu of traitors. happily married to Laya and has a kid. during an operation red star balio single handedly attacks the pak sponsored terrorist camps and kills most of them and gets wounded during the operation.
Now both camps know each other who is who and in the final climax showdown follows. They kidnap laya and kid. balio rescues not only his wife and kid but also the 100 crore indian population.
Highlights: the Telugu dialogues uttered by balio to the pak terrorists.
The desabakhti song will come in when balio is preparing for the final showdown.
madhya madhyalo comes the episodes like jungle chase where goons attack koyagudem, copter chase with terrorists and etc.,
P.S.: length of the movie is worrysome and trimming means loss of conitunity for some scenes
