Thanks Aggipidugu for your information.
I have been following up with the universities on behalf of my friend. Some of these schools are giving me hard time in the absence of individual mark sheets.
I have communicated with them that the mark sheets will be send ASAP. Do you think they would continue processing them (in general)?

One of my friend wants to do M.S. in New Jersey. He applied for NJIT, FDU, Stevens. He has done his bachelors from Madras university, Chennai. He supplied all the supporting documents like financial, consolidated mark sheet and provisional degree. Now, some of these schools are asking for individual transcripts? Are these transcripts really required? Is there anyway to get out of this? The reason being my friend does not possess these mark sheets currently. He can apply to get them but it would take some time.
Any information would be greatly appreciated?
