I thought WVU was the most overrated team in the nation period. They play in a conferenece that does not deserve to be playing division I-A ball. Thankfully they now won't play for the national championship. But it's unfair that such a bad team will get a BCS bowl while more deserving teams play some godknowswhat.com bowl or something in the middle of know where.

Bignole,
u need to understand the difference between supporting a statement & supporting a team.
OSU lost. did I argue that they are greatest thing since sliced bread. NO. I said they do more with less. you had no answer to that. you were bragging about the number of NFL first rounders in NFL etc etc. I just pointed out, If you have so many NFL'er how come you have only 1 NC in the recent past.
Im not going to argue on this issue again. If you get it, you get it. if you dont get it then you dont get it. just forget about it.
Im happy the luckeyes lost. We even took care of the Over rated & undeserving of attention, golden domers. took care of WVU. Tennesee gone, Lousyiana State Univ gone.

Nag mkama,

I agree with u. I am glad to see that Rix wont play for 2 gammes. That guy is lile a Heisman winner for one game and can be a High school freshman the next game:-(. I think the main reason for FSU's lost glory on offense is that dadgum Jeff Bowden. He should be kicked out but I doubt the old man will do it.

>>>>>u can't vote for ur own team, may be u didn't realize that.
No. U CAN. how else some times one team can get ALL the first place votes.
it comes back to the fact that human polls are erronous, biased & unreliable. but thats how USC claimed their NC in 2003. If USC had played OU instead of pedestrian Meechigan ( we know how great a road team they are) then they woud have known what it takes to be an actualy champion & would stop all the stupid talk like they do this year. anyway, they have harsh realities ahead this year.

essentially ur saying that since they could have had a better shot in such a close game, a better shot cannot be nothing but winning the game. so u mean to say as of now ( since sexton is th e QB) FSU is a tad better team than Miami & Miami doesnt deserve the 2 first place votes it recieved. I guess the two people who voted miami 1 are coker & bowden ( the elder one).

u know why they lost the game b/c they passed in that third down situation when they should have ran the ball which would have made miami either waste a timeout or loose some precious seconds.

I didn't say anywhere that the seminoles would have won the game if sexton was at QB. They would had a better shot. Any team can increase their chances on a given saturday if they don't keep turning the ball over.

badcow mama, here u go. Rix replaced as QB. They are just saying that it is b/c rix was injured. Rix was ready to play in the 4th quarter of the clemson game but they told him to sit on the bench.

if you can judge a QB by one game, the according to what reggie mcneal did against the same clemson, u can claim that ATM is beter than FSU & mcneal is one of the best in the country. hehehhe

these are sexton's stats last week in a backup role: Sexton finished a modest but respectable 17-of-26 passing performance for 162 yards, including a nifty 47-yard touchdown strike to Chauncey Stovall -- amazingly, the 'Noles' first TD pass of the season.

and he did not turn the ball over unlike our turnover machine aka chris rix.

this last weekend was probabaly the most boring weekend for college football. There was not even one good game!!(probably except for the USC-stanford game. I thought stanford would win)

Miami goes to Houston means houston pays miami. Think about it this way, they get to play with more spectators at houston that at Miami where their home attendance is suck, unless they play FSU or some other hot shot team like the gatorades.
