I stressed on princefans.com even though other sites have given reviews saying movie is bad.. coz.. those sites dont give info about Mahesh as deep as pf.com did.
If a mother says bad about her kid, then nobody respects that kid. I know that its not a apt comparision but still I hope you got what I meant to say.
I understand that your letter meant overall planning of Mahesh in last couple of years.. but the time the letter came out.. makes it relate to the movie than to his career 
Anyway.. Its a gone movie.. so lets not dig about the past. The only thing that surprised/shocked me was.. the letter being put as the main page (rather than posting the link as it is now) implied to me as if most of the fans are leaving him, the time when he needed them the most.

If only www.princefans.us had given an unsatisfactory review that's one thing. Across the board not only a majority of the websites but also respected critics like Eenadu's Gudipudi Srihari had the same thing to say. If you read gudipudi Srihari's review in Eenadu, it is more critical than even prince fans. I think a lot of people outside India still have access to these other than just www.princefans.us.
I have nothing to do with the maintenance of the site. I just expressed my opinions about Mahesh's bad planning decisions. If you read the article again, it is not a critique of the movie Nani at all but a critique of his decision making which made him spend 1 year on TD and almost a year on Nani and both were unsatisfactory. If he had spent the same time doing even 3 indifferent movies with lesser quality and no novelty also the results would have been the same. That is the gist of our frustration - that sufficient care was not taken in the production of these elaborate projects to ensure the output was worth the time (the outcome is a whole different issue, if the output is itself not satisfactory, then don't blame the outcome). |

Whatever you say, princefans.com was the top rated site in my view, when it comes to Fans site for a HERO.
Most of my friends used to go to that site... and as site owners you should know about its 'hits' and its ranking.
In INDIA, the sites or their reviews wont have much of effect.. but here, they do. If a movie is given a bad review or bad talk, people here hesitate to watch in theatre. Some will just skip it saying.. why waste the weekend, lets wait till the cassette gets released. So, for sure, Sites/reviews effect the movie over here.
The letter sure dissappointed me. Iam not a Mahesh fan. Iam just a movie fan. I can understand the frustation you guys had but almost all of you know the story line from the begining. You should have shown your protest the moment he accepted the movie but not after the movie is released. Once he accepts, most of the credibility should go to the director.. How far is it Right to completly blame the HERO alone.
Too much involvement results in a Johnny.. too much experiments results in a Naani.
Just for kicks, I want ARJUN or whatever his next movie is.. to be a BIG Hit.. to see the reactions
BTW, One doubt .. Are you going to change the name of the Site? (I dont know exactly who maintains/runs the site) ..

I didn't know www.princefans.us had so much power to affect the outcome of a movie. I thought telugu audiences decided their own tastes but now that we have found religion and "Jesus" has spoken that we can single handedly influence the tastes of nearly 4-5 crores of movie going Telugu audiences, I guess we should hype up every single movie of Mahesh's now onwards.

Fello Super Star and Mahi fans,
Stop supporting www.princefans.us. They reacted very cheaply with the result of Naani.Thye are not having any moral right to think that their sight represents of Mahi fans.The fans like these people damamged more than ordinary audience to NAANI.They did not even waited for one day and closed unofficially the site of Mahi.Now, they are telling that they are bringing the site on Super Star.They will do more damamge to SS also. |
