mozuabbai - oka paali movie soodu mama, neeke thelushtaadi em rayaalo. you can ofcourse start wuth the fact that there were certain cinematic liberties taken but the soul of the great freedom fighter was accurately depicted. also tell them that this was the first cinemascope movie (??) in south india (?? again ) .. you can also focus on how songs are used in movies, why they are so integral to our movies and how they are derived from out culture. talk about krishna's acting and jaggayya's too. you can also mention that, in it's own way this movie depicts what all went wrong during the indian subjugation by the british. an insider cheating alluri was the common thread through out all british victories on the subcontinent.
in short, I think you should divide into some sections
cinematic
cultural
historic
also throw in a line about how one can compare with braveheart only that here the hero meets a tragic end because this is REAL life. these comparisons help the historically-challenged westerners perceive the story better.
