In my long career, I have met and come across innumerable people. But none quite like Amit. It is a general misconception about our film industry that you don’t find people with good hearts. However, Amit has a heart of gold. He is the one who proves that a man can assume legendary proportions by sheer hard work. I am one of the few privileged people who have known Amit from the days when he was a nobody. Success hasn’t changed him at all. He is the same friend and well-wisher that I’ve always known. |

Amitji always had this spark of greatness in him. He was always a hard-working man. And that’s why he has come this far. One thing that I have always liked about Amitji is his sense of humour. He would always be up to something while shooting with us. However, his personality is very perplexing in itself. You can’t accurately describe him. But that he is a great human being is what I can vouch for. |

Virudh is my second film with Mr Bachchan and I am happy that I have gained acceptance in his heart. From playing a villain in Aetbaar to playing his son in Virudh, I feel accepted. I have learnt so much by observing him. Mr Bachchan does not believe in advising people unnecessarily. He makes it very clear that he is out here to work and always insists on getting off to that. Vikram Bhatt once told me, “When you are doing an action sequence with Mr Bachchan, remember he is a national property.” I agree, completely. |

My experience of working with him was like working with God, and I really mean it. Mr Bachchan was one of the first actors I met. I was a kid then and he was shooting for Don. The way he treated us kids was superhuman and I was convinced that all actors are superhumans. For me, he is, and always will be, God. |

Amitji is my God. Every actor worships him. As a kid I was a big fan of his. And when I got a chance to work with him, I was overwhelmed. And when he said that he liked my acting, I couldn’t believe my luck. I am one of the few actors who got a chance to know him. Bahut hi bhale aadmi hain. He is such a huge star, but he never speaks rudely even to his juniors. He respects me and loves me. He is a man who would never let a stranger feel that he is a stranger. |
