Hindu mythology states that Lord Shiva embalms his body with ash. Shankar is an alternate name for Lord Shiva. Consequently, people are wondering, wherever the word ‘Shankar’ appears in the title of the film, it turns out to be an unimaginable flop, leaving a mound of ash for producers.
Only ‘Shankaraabharanam’ is an exception for this syndrome. Although people say that it is superstitious to believe this comparison, history and the present scenario is showing the evidence.
Super Star Krishna’s ‘Shamsher Shankar’, NTR’s ‘Uma Chandi Gowri Shankarula Katha’ and the recent ‘Shiv Shankar’ of Mohan Babu are the best examples. Even ‘Gudumba Shankar’, being in the hold of fans’ support is not doing well in the theatres.
A well-known numerologist from Hyderabad says that the word ‘Shankar’ takes the number that is not favorable to the commercial success of the film.
He affirms that the number pertains to Mars, whereas the film runs with the chief force of Venus and Sun. But he says that ‘Gudumba Shankar’, holds the number 6 that pertains to Venus. So he says that the film is a sure success.
The countdown for ‘Shankar Dada MBBS’ is coming closer to its release. Fans are confident of its success. Bu the numerologists suggest to spell the film as ‘Shanker Dada MBBS’ as it epitomizes Venus, the planet that rules Cine Field.
