there was something similar about 5 yrs ago where Marino and Elway met like 2 times over a 10 year span even when playing in the same conference and being the top quarterbacks. I think it changed starting in 96 and they played each other 4 times in 3 years..

So far this season has been ho-hum not much hoopla over any team.

i think this loss is going to cost home field advantage for the packers. No matter what coach smith planned, the bears have a bad offense and if u are a contender, u just can't loose games like these.

From some other message boards

Green had over a 100 yards rushing in the 1st half alone, not sure what his final total was and yes the packers had a lot of turnovers as the Bears secondary including Mike Brown is terrific although Brown was lost near the end of the game with a ruptured achilles which is too bad....Tommie also had little to no penetration on pass rushes and was easily handled there as well as the running plays I watched, but I was really impressed with Green Bay's 2 guards....the Bears did get to Favre with many blitzes which totally confused him....Lovie Smith said he knew how to beat the packers before the season and maybe he was right as I've never seen Favre looked so confused with all the interceptions he threw....of course the fumble forced by Urlacher was the difference ...

Lovie Smith did the same to Favre about 3 times in St. Louis.

Pats are to Colts as Colts are to Titans. Somethings just can't be explained..

Packers loss is one of the biggest upsets at home
i can think of.. Its all between Eagles/Vikings now..

Pats looked like they knew they are going to win but lets make it ugly.. If i am in Arizona, why would i want to go and sit outside in 100 degrees and watch a junior varsity team?

Go Boyz.
Did anyone watch the MTV Cribs. Our guy TGRW (The Great Roy Williams) aka TRRW ( The Real Roy Williams, the ones @ North Carolina, formerly at kansas & the one at Detroit, formerly at UT are called TFRW, The Fake Roy Williams) was on it. they showed his house & was very simple. it was an ordinary Single Family home. He is soo down to earth ( wonder where he learned that)& drives a suburban & nice, this inspite of him being engaged to Kelly Rowlands.

Thats because Golden Domers have the biggest fan base in the country. Dont forget then reprent the Irish Catholics. They dont want to join any conference because they want all the money for themselves - what a nice school to idolize growing up.

I still wonder how Notredame got that clout to be an independent and get special BCS favors. Why is BCS kissing ND's arse? Let them play in bigeast as in basketball or B10 geographically better..

i still don't get it why NCAA doesn't make them go into the bigeast. I know they have their own TV contract and stuff but it's unfair. There are a lot better Non BCS teams who deserve that spot more than NDame.

Classic cases of underachieving.
Golden Domers have their own clause in BCS.
If they finish in to 12, then they get to go BCS bowling. Thats how they played one under Bob Davie & got their Asses handed to them. Hehehehee
I hated it when they beat over rated punck ass, patheic road team, meechigan. im glad i didn't pick them win big10. the Golden Domers will not have a winning record this year.

steve smith's broken leg is going to cause a lot of problems for carolina. Now they can just put 8 in the box to stop steven davis. I think he had just 26 yards against greenbay.

Bronco's Fan , Yes. Beginning this season.
Q + John Lynch + Pat Bowlen = Awesome.
Did you know John Lynch played RB & QB & DB at Stanford.
I also like Rod Smith, one of my Fav player was Ed Macaffrey. Man,Champ Baily is awesome. I heard he was as good at Gerogia too.

ken dorsey showed yesterday that he didn't win at miami just because he had good teammates. With the 49ers offense looking like a disaster in the second quarter he replaced rattay and made the falcons back off the blitzes and got the 49ers some much needed points. He going to be the starter for that team by the end of the year.

the chuck enforcement doesn't seem to have affected the pats/colts game. Two obvious interference/hold calls and one iffy on wilson. The league got the offense game it wanted..

Woww the crew at the broncos/chiefs games should be given a week off next week. That was a real bad game for them and it started on the first possesion itself.. Whoever put the limits on what can be challenged and can't should rewrite those..

The daytime matches y'day are all bad. CBS got the worst of it.. Raiders/steelers is the prime game for them?

probabaly the weirdest stat for the entire 2004 season was in week 1:

Jerome Bettis' rushing line against Oakland: Five carries, one yard, three touchdowns.
Seven inches per carry.

One thing I have noticed in this game -
Brady goes through ALL his reads & checks off his receivers faster than any QB ive seen. He does not lock on to one receiver nnor has a Fav receiver. This includes Farve. May be this is largely attributed to excellent route running by his receivers & brady's confidence in them.
note: Before anyone jumps on me, Ive only wathced Farve games since 99, so essentially i did not get to see him during his peak (MVP times)

upset special 2004:thanks to the new rule change the colts will outlast the pats. I don't think neither team will score more than 24.

I am excited to see the matchup of colts WR's and NE DB's after the rule change in the off season

Vicky's preseason didn't go that well. Coming of
a major injury, he seems to have more leg problems. you are forgetting Arizona for that
1 pick..

we fins fans have given up for this season. Our goal for this season is the no.1 pick where we have strong opposition from san diego. If we get that that number one pick we can drive fiedler, feely, wannstedt and GM rick speilman all out of florida and start all over again.
