The harvard stadium is so old. but totally covered with IVYs on the outside and lots of people use it for daily exercises going up and down the seats. yes it is open for public during the week.. So both USC and Oklahoma were both 11-1, the only difference is that USC is Pac-10 champion while Oklahoma is a big 12 runner up. That's the difference. They dont have enough time to sit & analyze the games. they are too busy studying the next opponents tapes & their teams tapes of the last game. Infact they tell their Asst Coaches to vote. Thats why u see LSU has one 1st place vote & ATM (Texas A&M) has one 21st place vote in the latest coaches poll. It tell you how pathetic those voters are. As far as AP polls go, The AP voters only & only can watch handful of games & their vote is also biased. They punish a team for losing late in the season & that results in a Team like USC, which lost to a 34th ranked team ( THAT WAS THEIR HIGHEST RANKED REGULAR SEASON TEAM, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD) & early in the season & still become 1st ranked team. The AP votes also have Ifs & Buts. Thats the reason computer polls are existing. All the computer polls are based on different formulas, which calculate wins, losses opponents wins, losses, & opponents opponents wins losses etc etc. it is an intensive, complex formula with lot of iterations. they are rarely biased. Oklahoma was Ranked 1 in most polls because they lost to a BCS bowl game team IN A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. PAC-10 Doesnt even have a Championship game. HUH. OU played KSU in Kansas City (almost their home) in sub zero temperatures & lost. In the bowl game, OU lost to LSU by one touch down. had 3 possessions to equal the score, had four shots at the tying TD, ALL OF IT in NEW ORLEANS, LSU's backyard. USC beat a 2 loss Michigan team which was PATHETIC road team & that was Rose Bowl, USC backyard. Thats the reason why computer polls are much better than Human polls. The NC should be played by best team over the ENTIRE season, NOT between the hottest teams in december. USC has no reason to cry, they LOST a game.
