nahin re. I thought kerry did a bad job. bush gaadi kemundi scene. ade mixed message anukuntu sava dengaadu. but he was actually better than I expected him to be. he had stats on his hand, was also thinking on his feet ( however slow ) and was defly better than the 2000 debates.
dont remember fully but there was one point where kerrty raised some good point, bush neatly left it alone and went to something else and kerry forgot to get back.  atleast 3,4 times that way.

a clinton or even a mccain or lieberman would have crushed bush but kerry was tryiung to be too gentlemanly. also I liked his response about the character traits question. firstly, that was not a good question to ask. guess lehrer did that to let kerry answer the flip-flop allegation.
but bush too him to task and kerry simply said 'none of my biz' - that was good

Actually Bush seemed more realistic in his issues. His weak point was he couldn't defend them well. How can Kerry say he can get back the Iraqi troops in 6 months ? Itz abstract.
Also, Bush was constantly putting his monkey face onto the Camera. Instead, he would have atleast pretended (like Kerry) writing something. |

was that really such a strong perf from kerry ? naakaithe bush was ok anipinchindi. the point is if the fence sitters are gonna move over to kerry and he wasnt very strong there. atlesat some points where he shoulde have nailed down bush but did not and got carried away.

And there was an interesting bit in the yesterday's Presidential debate. There was this discussion on Non-Proliferation and Kerry had a golden oppurtunity to nail Bush on Pakistan's AQ Khan. Somehow he missed that. |

2beers/Deepblue mama, Yes Kerry did really well. I'm very happy with the end result. Thouh mid way through, none of them looked to be leading, but in the later part, Kerry stole the show. This is what I wanted. I'm hoping Kerry will continue the same in the next 2 debates and outblast Bush..
