KSR Das was a gate keeper in theatre(in nellore).Late he became projector operator.He worked in Editing department for so many years..Later became succesful director and finished 100 movies..
Producers like him because he finishes movie in less time and less budget..but the movie looks so rich.he told in interview"Because of my expereince in editing..I know which one will be deleted in later stages..thats why i eliminate loss while shooting stage it self.Every director should know 3 areas Screenplay..editing and final is basics in direction department"

K.Vishwanath was a sound engineer, or used to worked in the sound/recording depts.
Bapu had no direction experiece prior to Sakshi. He was a complete outsider.
Vamsy worked as an Asst with K.Vishwanath for Sankarabharanam, and with Bharatiraja for Seetakokachiluka.

Shool is very good movie with bihar backdrop.
The villain was really god he is the same guy who is now acting in telugu and tamil movies as vilan.
Shool was his first movie and ENivas is sreenivas.

Usually oka director daggara pani cheste anni vishayaalu telustaayi.. vaalla experiences gurinchi telusukunte upayogapadutundi. So many directors first join as an assistant and then turn into directors.. but there are exceptions.. I think Sana Yadireddy, S.V Krishna Reddy.. direct gaane directors ga entry ichaaru..
